Paytm is currently all set to begin its payments bank operations from 23 May, having gotten the last endorsement from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). 

"Paytm Payments Bank Ltd (PPBL) has gotten the last permit from the RBI and would begin its operations on 23 May 2017," it said in an open notice. 

The organization will exchange its wallet business, which has more than 218 million versatile wallet clients, to the recently joined substance - PPBL - under the installments bank permit granted to an occupant Indian, Vijay Shekhar Sharma, the author of One97 Communications that claims Paytm.
