Tina Dabi, the topper of common administration's examination, secured only minimally more than 52% imprints, mirroring the strict assessment measuring stick received by the UPSC in the behavior of the prestigious test to choose the nation's top administrators.
The marksheets of effective and unsuccessful applicants will be in plain view till July 13 on UPSC site - www.upsc.gov.in.
The common administration's examination is led every year in three phases - preparatory, primary and meeting - to choose a contender for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS), among others.
22-year-old Tina, an alum from Delhi's Lady Shri Ram College, bested the 2015 common administrations exam securing 1,063 imprints (52.49%) out of an aggregate of 2,025- - including 1,750 of primary and 275 of the meeting. Second positioned Athar Aamir Ul Shafi Khan from Jammu and Kashmir, got 1,018 imprints (50.27%) and third rank holder Jasmeet Singh Sandhu secured 1,014 imprints (50.07%), the UPSC said.
Khan was an Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer while Sandhu an Indian Revenue Service (traditions and Central Excise) officer. Both were experiencing preparing before making it to the top. An aggregate of 1,078 competitors, incorporating 499 in General classification, 314 having a place with Other Backward Class, 176 from Scheduled Castes and 89 from Scheduled Tribes, have been prescribed for the arrangement to different focal taxpayer drove organizations on the premise of common administrations 2015 examination results announced on May 6.
