A six-part group involving authorities from the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation and the Center for Railway Information System has started an investigation into whether an endeavor was made to hack the IRCTC site.
As indicated by authorities, the matter became known after Inspector-General of police Maharashtra Cyber Cell educated the Chief Commercial Manager Western Railway about the site being hacked.
Addressing dna, Sandip Dutta, representative of IRCTC said, "We will be in a position to affirm if to be sure there has been a hacking endeavor after we get data about the hacked information from the police".
